Description

Back On Track (Hammersmith & Fulham IAPT) Service is now offering a number of places on the London-wide Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT) for trainee CBT High Intensity Therapists.

If you are an experienced mental health or social care worker with a recognised professional qualification working in a mental health setting, or a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, this course gives you the training you need to become an accredited cognitive behavioural therapist.

Since launching in 2009, Back on Track has become a well-established, successful IAPT service, with an excellent track record of successfully supporting our High Intensity trainees through their training.

We recognise that the IAPT training programme can be demanding, and we are careful to provide weekly individual supervision and supportive line management, to meet the needs and maximise the learning experience of each trainee.

Our service has won awards for its focus on wellbeing and we have a sociable and friendly team.

As a result, we develop long-lasting and committed relationships with our staff, and many of our trainees go on to work with us as qualified CBT therapists after completing the course.

The training programme consists of three days working within Back On Track and two days at university taught by experts in the field.

The training posts are offered at NHS band 6 plus 20% Inner London weighting for trainees with Back On Track.

Please not interviews for this will be 15thJune 2023
