Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and clinically experienced Diagnostic Radiographer or Technologist to undertake the role of PETCT Clinical and Operational Lead for the PETCT service provided across both sites of the Clatterbridge Cancer centre.

You will need to be registered with either the HCPC or the RCT and have excellent leadership, communication, organisational and time management skills and be able to develop good working relationships across all areas of the Trust and with external stakeholders.

PETCT is operated in collaboration with Alliance Medical and the team at The Royal Liverpool hospital.

PETCT is part of Radiology which sits within the Radiation Services Division alongside the Radiotherapy and Physics Business Units. The Radiology service encompasses Plain X-Ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT.


You will work closely with the Radiology General Manager, the Radiology Operational Site Managers and the Quality Lead and Operational Manager to deliver high quality services within this Business Unit, ensuring that services are safe, efficient and effective.

You will provide compassionate, inclusive leadership and management to promote high standards of clinical care, patient safety and experience.

As part of the Radiology management team, you will influence and shape the way services are delivered and act as line manager for Radiology staff.
