Ideally the school are looking for someone with experience working with children of a similar age.

What would I be doing day-to-day as a Year 6 Teaching Assistant?

Day-to-day, you would be assisting the setting up and clearing up of lessons, assuring the classroom is organised and tidy at all times.

You will be taking on responsibilities such as leading 1:1 sessions with students who require more support as well asrunning booster groups with reading and writing in the lead up to their exams before leaving the school.
