Our client based in
Brighton are seeking a
Compliance Officer to join their team on a
Permanent basis.
They are an international charity who are passionate about changing lives across the world by volunteering projects they arrange and source for.
They key focus of the role is to assist the Operations Team in delivering thegrowth of seasonal workers across each customer site.
You will be responsible for auditing the customers site, making sure it adheres to both safety requirements for the workers and the ethical stance this charity stands for.
If you are passionate about charitywork and volunteering, love communication with clients and are happy to travel for regular client meetings, then we would love to hear from youDuties:
- Communicating regularly with customers and visiting customer sites in the UK (sometimes overseas)
- You will audit client sites to ensure they are in line with safety and legal requirements and meet ethical standards
- Reassessing fair pay and facilities for seasonal workers on site and liaising with line managers on this
- Building relationships with customers so they continue the volunteer scheme on an ongoing basis
- Promoting other services the charity offer
- Engaging with customers as a partnership organisation and promoting awareness of their goals
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Adaptability to travel regularly and build rapports with a range of organisation leaders predominantly those running agricultural businesses
- A passion for great customer service and charity work
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- A team player who puts high service levels first
- Adaptable and flexible to meet changing needs of the organisation and its customers
- Takes responsibility for bigger picture and communicates concerns clearly to both customer and internal line managers for them to take appropriate actions where needed
- Strong verbal and written English
- Willingness to work flexible hours as travel is a regular part of the role
