BDS Recruitment are currently looking for a Young People Homeless Support Worker to work within the Torbay area.


We are looking for someone innovative and creative in their ways of working to work who has the ability to engage with a range of young people.

The role will be based in supported accommodation for young people aged experiencing homelessness.

Main duties will include but are not limited too;

  • Working through support and action plans
  • Updating risk assessments and risk management plans
  • Developing the life skills necessary to move on and live independently in the community.
Hours per week: 37 hours on a rota pattern to include 1 in 5 weekends and bank holidays. Bandwidth hours are 9am to 8pm.

Expected Length of Contract: 2 months - possibility to extend

Pay rate; £14.46ph PAYE - £17.79ph UMB

Full-time, Temporary contract

£14.46-£17.79 per hour

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
