Tradewind are working on behalf of an
Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in North Liverpool who are looking to appoint a
full time SEMH Learning Support Assistant.


This position would suit someone with experience of working with children or adults with
social, emotional, and mental health needs in a special school provision.


The role will be 8.25am - 2.50pm Monday - Thursday and 8.25am - 2.30pm on a Friday. The role will be to start asap
for the rest of the academic year.

For the role, you will:

  • Have experience of working with young people OR be a Graduate working towards a PGCE OR hold a Teaching Assistant qualification
  • To
    work collaboratively with the SENDCo and other members of staff
- be working on a one-to-one basis with
a student with SEMH.
- be responsible for making learning as accessible as possible for the students that you work with and therefore it is essential that you show empathy and patience, whilst ensuring they are as engaged as possible
- be a committed, positive, and nurturing character
