TOWN PLANNER

Preston - Permanent - Hybrid

£30,000 - £35,000pa+


Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a renowned Preston based Planning Consultancy in their hire of a talented Town Planner.


_Responsibilities_

  • Undertaking regular community engagement, committee meetings and public examinations.
  • Conducting research and undertaking planning appraisals to establish the development of potential of sites.
  • Researching and designing planning policies to guide development.
  • Writing high quality reports with recommendations.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders involved in the planning process.
  • Attending site visits and client meetings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills.
  • A relevant degree in Planning.
  • Achieved RTPI accreditation or be committed to achieving RTPI accreditation.
