About Our Client:

Our client operated within the construction industry and due to rapid growth is recruiting into their strong finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.

  • Maintaining ledgers
  • Coding and processing invoices, including matching of invoices to purchase orders
  • Prompt resolution of supplier queries
  • Ensuring the timely reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Processing invoices on a timely basis and to minimise the value of accruals.
  • Ensuring documents are scanned to the central filing system
  • Prepare accruals relevant to outstanding purchase orders
  • Assisting with CIS and PAYE payment runs
  • Any other adhoc duties

The Successful Applicant:


  • Ideally available immediately or on a short notice period
  • Have experience using Sage within a finance role
  • Live within commuting distance to their Newport offices
  • Confident handling large volumes of data
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of Purchase Ledger and raising purchase orders
