We're looking for a Team Leader for our Paint Shop.

Our sites are in an easily accessible location just off Cowpen Road in Blyth, Northumberland.


What you'll do:


Working shifts, 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights, we are offering a pay rate of £13.53 per hour and an allowance of time and a third for the night shift periods of work.
Leading and developing the paint shop pack to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.


Ensure that colleagues work with due care to their safety and the safety of others, and work in compliance with Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.


Support your line supervisor in the execution of their duties and responsibilities against strategic and development plans of the area and business.

Provide leadership, training and coaching to direct production colleagues.


We'd love you to have:

Experience of leading and coaching a team

Some experience of Powder Coating and Painting gained from a Paint Shop Manufacturing environment. Its ok if you don't have this, we can train you on our processes -
This is not essential, Team Leader Experience is far more important for this role
IT skills (Basic Word & Excel, PowerPoint)

Extensive experience of working in manufacturing

Knowledge and understanding of process management and Visual Management
