About us:

We are an 11-18 Academy in the picturesque village of Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns. We have nearly 1100 students on roll including a successful and growing Sixth Form.

Our staff tell us they genuinely feel like part of a team; a team who are striving to help each student flourish both academically and personally.

We believe that through clarity of vision, collaboration and dedication, we can achieve great things for our young people and for the staff who join us on our journey.

Our vision is simple, yet unashamedly ambitious:
'To develop world-class students who have the belief in themselves that anything is possible and lead happy and successful lives.'

A key part of our plan for education is to ensure children become valuable and fully-rounded members of society who treat others with respect and tolerance, regardless of background.

About the role:

Are you interested in a career in education finance? Are you experienced or just starting on your career path and looking at options for the future? If you have good attention to detail, are self-motivated, enjoy a challenge and like working independently we would love to hear from you.

The right person is important to us and we would be happy to train you if you can demonstrate the drive, aptitude and skills required for the role and already have a basic understanding of finance.

We firmly believe our staff are our best asset and as such, see this as an important role in the development and success of our Academy.

The staff are a dynamic, passionate team that work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.

The main areas of responsibility will be running the day-to-day financial operations and liaising with stakeholders. This will include processing income and expenditure on the purchase and sales ledger, reconciliation of parent pay income, credit cards and trips using Iris Financials (PSF)

About you:

Are you:
A problem solver?
Analytical in your thinking?
Dynamic and organised, with good attention to detail?
Someone with good communication, interpersonal and IT skills?
Possibly thinking about a career in finance?
