We are currently recruiting for a full time Inventory Clerk to join our busy Lettings Division here at Fenn Wright.

Established in 1768, Fenn Wright LLP have 11 successful branches located from Woodbridge through the A12 trunk to Chelmsford.

We are seeking a professional, well presented, and efficient individual who will work well under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and be flexible in their approach to all aspects of our business.


This is a fast paced and varied role, which will be customer focused and face to face, compiling inventory reports, check outs and inspections on residential properties for our Let & Fully Managed properties.

The role will involve extensive travel to properties across the Essex and Suffolk areas.


A typical day would start from 08:30am and collecting the keys from our Stanway Head Office (or other designated branch) for the day ahead.

You will then be out on the road visiting the properties scheduled for that day.

You will be required to evaluate the property's condition, note down all contents and record the condition/cleanliness throughout using software on a handheld device.

Complete interim inspections and raise any maintenance issues for our property management team to rectify, this will include meeting Tenants on site.

Complete check-out reports when a tenant vacates to assist with any deposit disputes.


The Role:


  • Produce move in inventories, check outs and midterm property visits for a large portfolio of residential properties
  • Managing your schedule alongside the Property Management & Lettings Team
  • Collect and return keys to and from agents ensuring they are returned immediately following the inspection
  • Compile reports via software and quality check before submission
  • Work within flexible hours and attend appointments at short notice
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working alone and who likes to be out and about. Whilst there will be team interaction, most of the day will be spent travelling around properties on your own.

  • Competent with an IOS or Android device
  • Great time keeping and diary management
  • Enthusiastic & cando attitude
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a growing team
  • Works well under pressure
  • Computer literate with very good written and spoken skills
  • Inventory experience required or worked within the Lettings industry
  • Full UK driving license
  • Competent IT skills are a must and previous experience in a sales or similar setting would be beneficial.

Benefits
- £22k to £26k per annum, dependent on experience
