Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Croydon

Monday-Friday

Up to £90 a day


Long term role - suitable for an aspiring teaching assistant with experience with children with ASD would be perfect for this role.


The school:

Tempest Education have partnered with a warm and nurturing, mainstream primary school located in
Croydon. The school is renowned for their investment and training in their TA's. The school is a 5-minute walk from the train station.


What you will do:


  • You will be supporting children wish ASD within the Special Educational Needs provision which is brand new.
  • During the afternoons you will be supporting the children to transition into the mainstream classes
  • You will work in small groups and adapt lessons/activities to suit the ability of the pupil/pupils that you are working with

What you will bring:


  • An ability to work as part of a team with our friendly and supportive staff
  • Experience working with children with ASD (mildsevere)
  • Experience and knowledge of working with children with SEN is advantageous.
