Office and Facilities Administrator

Harwell - office based

Car drivers required due to travelling between two local offices

Up to £26,000

Duties

  • Assist the facilities manager, preparing for external subcontractors to do work and process associated paperwork
  • Manage reception and visitors
  • Answer the main phone line
  • Create access passes
  • Purchase office and kitchen consumables
  • Arrange travel and event bookings
  • Manage post and shipment paperwork
  • Onboarding of new starters and arrange employee training
  • Raise purchase orders
  • HSE administration
  • Previous reception and or administration experience
  • Good IT skills including Excel
  • Excellent written/ verbal English
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new skills and systems quickly
  • Multi tasking, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Effective relationship building skills
  • A team player mentality as well as using their initiative when working alone
