Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage the collection of overdue accounts, meeting collection targets and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Allocate customer payments accurately to ensure correct ledger transactions.
Handle and investigate customer queries in a timely manner, providing exceptional service.
Complete final accounting procedures and release retentions.
Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts to support financial planning.
Maintain customer accounts and review credit limits based on business needs.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in Credit Control, preferably within a small team environment.
Experience in the construction industry or similar complex collections background is desired but not required.
Proficiency in B2B collections practices.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a desire to explore and interpret data.
Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to build effective working relationships.
Commercial acumen and business awareness to contribute to financial decisionmaking.
Deadlineoriented with the ability to work within time constraints.
