Kerensa Care & Support is a fast growing care provider based in Cornwall. We provide support to people in the community, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives.

As a support worker you help people to live more fulfilling lives, empowering them to build and maintain positive relationships with others, to become more independent and integrated members of their community, and reach to find success and their potential.

Essential:


  • Be of a caring and empathetic nature.
  • Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for work (with the exception of livein care).
  • Be able to support with intimate personal care.
  • Be able to work on a rota basis, including, weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • Be able to do sleepin's on a rota basis (where required).
  • Be prepared to support people away on holiday if required.
  • Be prepared to not smoke whilst at work.
  • Ability to use basic IT systems.

Desirable:


  • Previous experience within the health and social care sector.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Any experience with horses
  • Experience with the management of mental health and wellbeing.
