Senior Network Support Engineer (RF) - London - Shift Work - Up to £80k + Bonus & Shift Allowance


We are currently working with a global communications company who are revolutionising access to the internet by providing connectivity to those previously left behind.

They are on a mission to remove previously set barriers and set the new standards of connectivity.

The Role


As a Senior Network Support Engineer (RF), you will be act as an SME within the global operations team, playing an active part in providing gateway technical support to all staff members.

Your other daily duties will include but will not be limited to:


  • You will perform proactive analysis and checks to identify anomalies in the network
  • Create documentation for all operational processes
  • Work closely with Engineers across departments to perform system integration and operations
  • Perform advanced and complex fault diagnostics, isolation, and recovery
  • Providing specific technical support to all operations staff members
  • Review all incidents, finding root causes and implement relevant changes to prevent further issues, as well as ensuring all investigations are recorded accurately

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or Computer Science or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and maintaining basebands, Intermediate and Radio Frequency, antennas, and WAN/LAN equipment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of gateway antenna systems
  • Experience providing Data Analysis and Optimization
  • Great knowledge of Satcoms Baseband, Network Management, and hightech systems equipment
  • Good understanding of IP routing and networking
  • Experience working within telecommunications, satellite, or military communications network operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ACM adaptive coding and Uplink Power Control.
  • Selfmotivated and proactive individual who takes initiative to ensure operational issues are resolved.
