As aDigital Interaction Designer
your main responsibilities would be:
- Work out the best way to let users interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements.
- Develop designs based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes.
- Can be trusted to make good decisions but can recognise when to ask for further guidance and support.
- Contribute to the development of design concepts, should be able to interpret evidencebased research and incorporate this into your work.
You'll have relevant experience in:
- Experience of working in agile, including an awareness of agile tools and how to use them.
- Able to listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders, and interpret them in a way that is clear for both audiences.
- Able to work collaboratively within a group. Be responsive to changes in technology, adapting the approach accordingly.
- Absorb large amounts of conflicting information and use it to produce simple designs.
- Understand the sustainability and consequences of your decisions which can be characterised by levels of risk and complexity.
- Create static HTML and CSS prototypes. Establish design patterns and iterate them.
- Able to work within a strategic context and communicate how activities meet strategic goals.
- Understand the difference between user needs and the desires of the user.
- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
