We are keen to talk to Auditors considering their next move and share with them details of a County Durham firm who are looking to engage with experienced Auditors and Accountants to join their firm.

With an opportunity to work across both audit and accounts this role will see you engaging with a diverse client base from private Limited companies to academies and charities.

There is scope to quickly progress to Assistant Manager / Manager (whichever appropriate) and would suit an ambitious individual hungry for career development and ownership in a fairly broad role.

We are looking for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CA) Accountant with a minimum of 3 years practical experience who is capable of leading on audits under Manager review, supervising trainees on site.

Some audits are undertaken remotely and others on site (local). You do not need to have exposure to a cross section of sectors.

In addition to the audit role over half of your time would be spent working on the more complex non-audit clients statutory year end accounts and tax compliance.

Applicants will have worked in an accountancy practice and be looking for an environment that fosters team working and broadening of skill set.

The firm have a hybrid home working policy that is available after probation period should you wish to utilise, although most staff choose to be office based.

The firm offer free car parking making the journey to work accessible for those living in and around the surrounding Durham region.
