Knowledge:


  • Working knowledge of cGMP, quality, and H&S regulations.
  • Working knowledge of inventory stock control.
  • FLT knowledge, preferably certificated.
  • Knowledge of product functionality and understanding of manufacturing and
logístical specifications.

  • Numerate and able to count accurately check goods in and goods out.

Education/Experience Required:


Essential -

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Desirable -

  • Working knowledge of warehousing including receipt, barcoding, stock
movements, bin locations and dispatch. Knowledge of SAP.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to all site Health and Safety requirements and procedures.
  • Undertake daily cart assembly builds in line with Southgate daily
schedule for any of the product stream.

  • Maintain 5S standards and contribute to continuous improvement
initiatives.

  • Responsible for waste segregation and control within agreed
operational areas.

  • Prepare finished goods for shipment upon exit of operational areas by
- identifying and packing against customer specification. Work in unison
with despatch colleagues to maintain FIFO and schedule adherence in
line with SAP order book.

  • Maintain materialhandling equipment, complete preuse inspections
and report any defects and machine issues via the appropriate
communication channels.

  • Ensure inventory pick count adherence in designated warehousing
areas. Verify and maintain materials and packaging to manufacturing
areas or locations via SAP system. Escalate inventory inaccuracies to
Warehouse Manager. Assist in investigations within cross functional
teams.

  • Undertake regular and annual stock counts ensuring accurate counting.

Performance Objectives:


  • Able to receipt and store products using bar code scanners within the
first 14-days.

  • Within 30 days will know and understand which components are used
and be able to build all carts.

  • Months 23, understand production orders. Have a basic
understanding of SAP.

  • 3 6 Months, learn how to use all forklifts on site. Be able to use Pick
Pack manager on SAP
