Description
The Backline Agents role purpose is to provide quality and timely query resolution by supporting the Service Claims/KL Billing and Aviation relationships.
To be a successful Backline Agent you will need to ensure day to day interaction with customers and peers across DHL Sales Business Units, Customer Services, Operations and Customer Accounting.
For this role experience with Duty/VAT is highly desired due to the complex nature and volume of queries that the team handle.
- Knowledge of Customs regulations/resolving complex queries (training can be provided)
- Software Skills
- Knowledge of
Microsoft Office Packages:
Word, Excel, Access (not essential) etc
- Oracle knowledge (training can be provided)
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Maths & English GCSE grade 4 or above (old A-C or equivalent).
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Experience within a customer Services environment
- Experience handling accounting queries
To be considered for this role you must be able to provide 5 years work history and references, a DBS check will also be required.
