Job Title:
Head of Graduate Admissions


Location:
Bedford Square, London


Salary range:
£42,500 - £47,500


The Head of Graduate Admissions oversees a broad range of business, operational, and administrative support for the graduate programs at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.

Additional support may be provided to other BrandEd schools — The School of The New York Times and City Football Leadership — as necessary.

The position is responsible for creating and implementing all phases of the lifecycle of an applicant from enquiry to enrollment.

The postholder will bring a progressive and proactive approach to the prospect journey with the goal of providing the best possible experience for students and outcomes for the Institute.

The position will manage London Admissions staff, ensuring quality and processes are maintained in the admissions and enrollment area. This position reports to the Director of Global Enrolment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, organizing, and delivery of all on and off campus recruitment events such as open days, information session, taster days, and represent the Institute at student recruitment events in the UK and overseas.
  • Cocoordinate outreach strategies with Director, including oversight of the communication plan to address domestic and international inquiries and advise prospective students with admissions processes and visa concerns.
  • Provide regular analysis and reports to senior management.
  • Work with Immigration Services Department to ensure Institute compliance in regards to international students and visas, admissions standards and accreditation, Office for Students registration, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Liaise with faculty and administrative leadership to ensure smooth operation of admissions processes and work collaboratively to identify and implement improvements to enhance the applicant experience and efficiency of operation.
  • To plan and manage the coordination of all campus enrollment day activities.
Knowledge and Abilities

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with solid experience in admissions or recruitment
  • Experience with automated database systems, including a CRM (Salesforce, preferable) and Student Information System.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and organisational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff,
- students, and external contacts.

  • Highly selfmotivated, resultsoriented, and datadriven
  • Familiarity with international student recruitment and visa compliance
  • Be willing to travel throughout the EU and other countries to participate in recruitment efforts
  • Demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy in interpersonal relationships
  • Support and embrace diversity and inclusiveness
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary
Education, Work Experience Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Significant experience in admissions for higher or further education
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
