Role:
Finance Controller


Salary:
£45,000- £55,000


Location:
Chesterfield


Hours:
Monday to Friday between 9:00-5:30


Main responsibilities:


  • Management of the Finance Team
  • Prepare accurate and timely management information.
  • Support the SMT in improving business systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain the group reporting pack.
  • Review systems and processes to ensure best practice.
  • Consolidation of group accounts
  • Prepare monthly management information for review by the Finance Director
  • Review the monthly management accounts file.
  • Review working papers supporting accruals/prepayments.
  • Support the Finance Director in the preparation of the budgets and forecasts.
  • Integration of finance systems of acquisitions.
  • Maintain P&L and cash flow forecasts.
  • Completion of the quarterly VAT return.
  • Payment of all HMRC related liabilities in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Review financial systems and processes, recommending improvements.
  • Approve all payment runs prepared by the Finance Assistant.
  • Support the Finance Team in resolving outstanding queries.
  • Ad hoc work as required by the Finance Director

Qualifications and Experience

  • CCAB qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
  • People management.
  • MSP experience.
  • Xero
  • Autotask or similar IT Management software.
  • Experience in IT or technology sector.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide timely and accurate record of works.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work.
