The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment have teamed up with an independent logistics business on the outskirts of Edinburgh to assist them in the hiring of a senior inhouse recruiter within the operational team.
The role will sit within HR and will report directly to the managing director on a day to day basis.
The organisation have a footprint in several major Scottish cities and have forecast further growth into England in the near future.
The business was incorporated almost 10 years ago and has grown to become one of the biggest players in their sector over this period.
All areas of the business have grown in both staffing numbers and financial turnover, and now they have created the newrole.
The Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Building strong, long lasting relationships with professional drivers to ensure that driver requirements can be filled.
Work with the widder HR team in ensuring right to work paperwork is appropriately gathered and recorded. Also ensuring that HR/Recruitment team have copies of relevant licenses and references.
Build and maintain a network of talent through an in-house CRM system to ensure relationships are maintained and there is critical understanding of who is available when and where.
Review current recruitment spend and analysis return on investment to ensure money is spent in the most appropriate talent attraction platforms.
