Elrha is a global organisation that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking for a new Trustee to join our Board to serve as our Philanthropy Adviser.


As a trustee, you will provide strategic direction to the organisation and hold overall responsibility for how it is run.

The Trustee role of Philanthropy Adviser is expected to chair our fundraising committee and support our fundraising activities by providing a strategic understanding and steer regarding the philanthropic donor landscape.


This Trustee role would suit someone with experience in philanthropy, strategic partnership engagement, institutional fundraising and/or donor relations, ideally within an international context.

You will also demonstrate all the relevant skills and attributes expected as a trustee of a charity:

  • Commitment to Elrha's work
  • Strategic and creative thinking and oversight
  • Good independent judgement
  • Commitment to good governance
  • Willingness and ability to dedicate sufficient time to the role
