Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and experience driving tractor trailers.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a tractor trailer to transport goods and materials
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

Valid CPCS/NPORS Ticket
Proven experience as a tractortrailer driver or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Experience with flatbed or delivery driving is preferred
Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed

Hours - Monday - Friday 40-50 per week

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 5 months

Pay:
£18.00-£20.00 per hour
