What you'll be doing


Decanter is the world's leading wine media brand with a total monthly reach in excess of 2 million via our print, digital and social channels.

Reaching a truly engaged and enthused wine-loving audience in over 100 countries around the globe, Decanter provides authoritative content, independent advice and world-leading global events, awards and more.


You will be running the commercial content for Decanter, both in print and online making sure all sponsored, advertorial and otherwise paid-for content is on time, on brief and on budget.


Commissioning writers, editors and other editorial resources is a key part of this role to ensure projects are completed competently and smoothly.

You will have regular liaison with producers from around the world but primarily Spain, Italy and France. Alongside this you will have the opportunity to go on global trips for regional advertorials.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Languages essential, Italian and Spanish are the priority
  • Writing, interviewing and subediting experience
  • CMS experience
  • Level 3 WSET or equivalent wine knowledge
  • Working knowledge of InDesign
  • Outgoing, personable and eager to pick up the phone and speak to producers
  • Happy to travel overseas when needed

The expected range for this role is £32,000 - £44,000
