SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Haringey secondary school to start as soon as possible for the full academic year.

The School

The school is based in Haringey, North London and has a calm atmosphere and is led by a strong leadership team.

The school is Catholic and is an "outstanding" school. Pupils make good progress throughout their time here, with many starting as new learnersof English.

The school is a 10 minute walk from the nearest underground station and also has on-street parking.

The Role

The Headteacher is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a small number of students who need some encouragement in lessons as they can be reluctant to attend school and can be disruptive if they are nit helped to focus.

The school would ideally like to appoint a team member who has experience of working with pupils with additional needs and who has a positive approach.

The salary for this role will be £75-85 per day and the role is full time during term time.
