Information, Advice and Administration Officer, 0-19 Child & Family Support Services

Family Action are working in Cumbria to deliver the 0-19 Child & Family Support Service.We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who will share and embrace Cumbria's vision of 'A great place to grow up and for children and young people to have the opportunity to become everything they want to be.
Your impact
Working collaboratively with families across the Allerdale locality, you will provide a warm and welcoming front of house service to all our service users and visitors, provide efficient and knowledgeable signposting advice/brief interventions to children, young people and their families, publicising and marketing materials and provide first rate administration to meet the needs of the service.
You will have a good level of English and Numeracy to at least GCSE Level or equivalent (Grade C or above, essential) and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
You will need experience with children, young people and their families, and be able to confidently signpost, run drop-in's and provide one off/brief intervention with families on a wide range of family support topics.
You must have access to a vehicle for business purposes and be able to travel frequently, with the expectation you will work collaboratively with Family Action & key delivery partners across the city.
