Pay Rate:
£23.93 UMB P/H
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Length of Contract: 6 Months Initially
Location:
Hybrid Working - Bernard Weatherill House, Croydon.
Initial 3 days in the office, 2 days at home (3/2), transitioning to 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.
Essential Knowledge:
Advanced understanding of legal and financial frameworks in social housing income services.
Proficiency in Housing Act 1985 legal requirements, rent accounting, and associated administrative processes.
Advanced knowledge of financial management systems and budget monitoring.
Significant knowledge of data protection legislation related to tenant information storage.

Handle varied and demanding workloads, consistently producing high-quality results.

Verbal Reasoning & Numeracy:
Possess strong verbal reasoning and numeracy skills.

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including plain English proficiency.

Understand equalities issues and show commitment to addressing diversity concerns in rent arrears recovery.
(f)

Accept consequences of actions, avoiding blame on others or circumstances.

Information Technology:
Showcase effective use of IT for job efficiency.
Essential Experience:
Customer Contact Experience:
Extensive interaction with the public face-to-face, over the phone, and via correspondence.
Income Recovery:
Extensive experience in income/debt recovery using IT systems and databases.
Special Conditions:
Ability to make occasional home visits outside normal office hours.
Access to transport preferred, with an ad-hoc car allowance provided.
Personal Effectiveness:
Demonstrate competencies in Accountability, Emotional Resilience, Teamwork, and Authority, Power, and Control due to access to vulnerable individuals.
