We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of Mental Health Advisors who carry out 1:1 assessments, deliver projects, provide mental health expertise to senior fauclty staff as well as delivering personal development groups.


You will:
- hold a relevant professional qualification such as Registered Mental Health Nurse/Community Psychiatric Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Probation Officer and/or substantial experience of providing mental health advice and assessment to vulnerable adults
- have significant experience of providing mental health support services within a demanding environment such as HE/FE, NHS, Social Work or voluntary sector to clients with moderate to severe mental health difficulties
- have experience of crisis management and coping with stressful and sometimes life threatening situations
- have knowledge and competence in assessing psychological distress and risk with clients, including suicidal behaviour.

This role will require a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check.


This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 2 years due to business demand.
