This group of venues are religious centres and believe working in partnership is vitally important. Spread across 4 spaces, the events that take place here are largely based around meetings & conferences.
As well as delivering events, this organisation is highly involved in various charity and many of their clients include many not-for-profit.
THE ROLE
Now looking for an Event Manager to join their existing team, your role will be varied and will include the following:
- Maintaining an up-to-date bookings calendar for all external and internal events
- Liaising with customers before and during events
- Managing and support the setting up and take down of rooms for events
- Working alongside external catering companies
- Liaising with preferred suppliers for all venues
- Arranging appropriate operational staffing levels to support external events
- Responding appropriately to feedback during and after events
- Ensuring that all external customers are invoiced promptly
- Planning and instigating a marketing strategy for all venues
- Updating and maintaining social media
- Working with other leaders to maximise income from external organisations
THE CANDIDATE
Being a baptised Christian involved in church activities or previous experience of community, charitable or Christian organisations would be desirable but is NOT a requirement for this role.
