We have a unique Part-time HR Officer role that we are looking to recruit for our client based in North Swindon.


This role is to work closely with the HR Manager for an innovative business who are pioneers in their field.

If you have expertise working in HR within an Engineering or Manufacturing business, then we would love to hear from you.


This role is offering up to £35,000 (FTE), you'll be based at the Swindon office hours a week and they can accommodate school hours/ and flexible working hours (1 day from home).

This is the perfect job role for someone an experienced HR Officer, looking for an increased work/life balance.


As HR Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the recruitment of all new hires across the business, including plant operations, engineering, finance and support.
  • Assist the HR manager to develop and introduce competency framework, skills matrix and career pathways.
  • Providing information reports relating to HR. For example, absence data, staff lists, payroll costs, etc. Producing request for information.
  • Maintaining and updating the HR database system.
  • Assisting with the organisation of appropriate training and development programmes.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or experience in Human Resources Management
  • Experience in establishing and implementing performance monitoring and review processes
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and the company's obligations
  • Experience in human resources, ideally in a role which included operational plant or manufacturing operations
  • CIPD qualified (level 5) (ideal)
  • The ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently

The Role:


As HR Officer, you will be assisting the HR manager with the continued evolution of the company's HR policies and procedures in line with the needs of the business.

You will naturally have a passion for working with people and have a flair for communication.

As HR Officer, you will be working part-time in Swindon 25 hours a week (1 day from home) and will receive full employee benefits.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
