Our client is a market leading specialist manufacturing organisation supplying everyday products to industry leaders within the FMCG / Retail sector, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their finance function withparticular emphasis on Credit Control for their largest accounts and consistent and timely maintenance of the sales ledger and daily cash book.


This is a varied, multidisciplined role within a small team with extensive interaction across other areas of the business, you will have the opportunity to add value to the existing team and play a part in improving processes whilst gaining further experiencewithin a busy finance role.

Key responsibilities:


  • Daily cashbook reconciliation
  • Sales Ledger cash Allocations
  • Retail Sales Ledger debt collection, account management
  • Customer invoicing
  • Administration of credit notes
  • Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Matching and processing stock invoices
  • Month end ledger closures, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & Cash book
  • Month end journal preparation
  • Print and reconcile bank statements
  • Cash allocation
  • Administration of sales ledger, customer queries, delivery queries, credit note administration.
  • Purchase ledger invoice processing, approval, matching, supplier queries
