Are you passionate about supporting primary children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?


I would love to hear from anyone who would like to be a Teaching Assistant in a Primary school in Weston-Super-Mare.


About the role:


You will be supporting primary aged children with a range of needs and learning disabilities either 1:1 or in the general class.

You will need to be reliable and flexible as well as positive and enthusiastic


About the school:

The hours for a Teaching Assistant are 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday, term-time only.

There are a range of short-term, long-term and permanent roles available.


Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Friendly and nurturing qualities
  • A desire to support children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Ideally a driver with access to your own vehicle
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:


  • DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for a DBS certificate
