We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Transport Driver to join our team here at PetMedics in Worsley


This is a zero hour position with no fixed shift pattern, covering day and night shifts as we operate a 24/7 service covering all 365 days per year.


This position will include:

  • Provision of work for our team during times of holidays and sickness, on either day or night shifts for the transportation of animals (we are a 24/7, 365 service)
  • Animal handling and transportation (in particular dealing with animals with difficult demeanours) experience with handling large dogs preferable
  • Animal husbandry and exercising
  • Infection control
  • Basic administration tasks with animal records
  • General housekeeping
  • This is a sensitive role with full confidentiality expected

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A full and clean driving licence
  • Experience handling animals, including transporting of animals in and out of vehicles
The salary for this position will be paid at £11.48 per hour.
