The Wiley Open Access Accounts (WOAA) Operations Assistant will provide administrative and operational support for WOAA holders.

This role will fulfil the responsibilities related to the funded Open Access business including (but not limited to) order entry, billing and credit hold reporting, and database maintenance.

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for data quality and integrity, as well as ensuring that articles are correctly made open access with the proper copyright information in the published content.


This role will also help manage customer expectations through excellent communication and organisational skills, with a view in ensuring quality customer experience, maximising revenues and repeat business.


How you will make an impact:

  • Utilise analytical skills to resolve customer account issues, including responding to customer queries in the WOAA Team inbox
  • Manage customer account setup
  • Produce accurate system invoicing for the payment of invoices related to the WOAA business via order processing systems
  • Audit publications to ensure that articles are Open Access and include the correct copyright information on Wiley Online Library
  • Ensure proper documentation and archival of customer records including customer communications, reports, quotations, and invoicing
