The opportunity is an exciting match for an experienced Azure Data Solutions Developer.

You will be joining a small but growing IT & Transformation team where we are launching a new phase of transformative cloud-based data solutions to the business.

As a key member within the team, you will be providing technical leadership in defining and building brand new cloud-based architecture, within the MS data platform to solve business problems.

Intrinsically having a proven and recent track record of experienceproviding end-to-end solutions is critical, as is working hands on for the role and you should be confident in being able to not only provide high quality and performant solutions but also those that follow best practice.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be a SME within the IT & Transformation team, spearheading change within the organisation as we look to capitalise on our data assets and build out a full data solution.

Key responsibilities will include, providing technical expertise and development support in the building, augmenting, and optimising of our Azure data solutions and platform architecture (which is primarily based on our Dynamics CRM data), as well as theimplementation of new data flows and integrations that support business efforts.

An ability to model the rs data to support analysis is also a key aspect of the role.

Design and implement data solutions that could include the following components: Sentinel, Azure Synapse, SQL Pools, Azure SQL Database, Apache Spark, Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Azure Analysis Services & Logic Apps and Function Apps
Assemble meaningful data sets that meet functional / nonfunctional business requirements using modelling techniques.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience of integrating Dynamics CRM 365 into the Data Platform.

Advanced SQL working knowledge and significant experience of working with relational databases, query authoring as well as other types of databases / storage solutions.

Experience of building optimal data pipelines (end to end).
Experience of troubleshooting internal and external data quality issues and processes.
A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
Experience or certified with TOGAF & Data management framework Principles or Microsoft Certifications in associated field.
Knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.
Experience supporting and working with teams across development and operations in a dynamic environment.
Mentoring other members of the IT & Transformation team, to deliver high-quality content.
Consultative approach to business questions, with a keen interest to understand the business drivers, and offering appropriate solutions.
Ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment.
