Like its sister print publication, The Week's website publishes a smart and eclectic range of briefings, digests, discussions and reviews which are distilled from a wide variety of sources.

Our regular readers look to us for analysis, context and commentary, as well as an open-minded digest of reporting from across the political spectrum.

What you'll be doing

The Week is looking for a Photo Editor and Illustrator to work on its UK and US websites, sourcing pictures from image libraries and creating original photo-montages and illustrations to bring its journalism to life.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

Create photomontages and illustrations to illustrate selected features, in line with the website's established aesthetic approach
Experience working as a photo editor for a fastpaced news publication.
Excellent picture research and imageediting skills.
A talent for coming up with creative illustration ideas for a wide range of stories, many of which will be about politics, business and world news.
A broad interest in and good general knowledge of current affairs and culture.
