BSNI have a fantastic opportunity for our manufacturing client based in Lurgan for production operatives.

Hours and rate of pay:

Monday
Thursday 9am 5.30pm
Friday 8am 4.30pm

- £11.44 per hour

Evening shifts may be included in peak periods, overtime available.

Duties:

Set up and operate sawing equipment to cut aluminium and stainless steel according to specifications.
Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
Select appropriate saw blades, adjust cutting speeds, and position materials for precise cuts.
Monitor sawing operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
Perform routine maintenance on saws, including blade changes, lubrication, and adjustments.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished cuts for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
Maintain inventory of cutting tools and consumables, ensuring adequate supply levels.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
