  • Build excellent relationships with external stakeholders, No.10 and other government departments and partners to work collaboratively on announcements, and internal and external communications.
  • Run an effective horizonscanning and planning function, ensuring media work is evaluated and any actionable insight is shared across the team and used to drive improvements and increase impact.
  • Ensure the department is able to communicate effectively during a crisis and manage incident communications for UKEF.
  • Deliver UKEF's Annual Report and Accounts to high quality, working with the Deputy Director of Marketing and Communications and Chief Financial Officer to manage a matrix team to run the project.
  • Provide speechwriting and content editorial for a range of digital and offline channels and activities, alongside core narratives, lines and CEO briefings on key topics.
  • Deliver excellent internal communications for UKEF and the CEO, to support the department's staff engagement goals. Provide guidance to Executive Committee and a range of stakeholders to shape communications strategies, manage crises and deliver outstanding leadership communications.
