ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

We are looking to appoint a proactive Janitor to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff.

This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Waste management in line with onsite process and achieve recycling targets
Use of onsite equipment including ride on scrubber drier, buffer and carpet cleaner
Driving and operating company machinery including scrubber drier and walk behind scrubber
Maintain the cleanliness of the centre
Maintain the cleanliness within the service yards and areas
Assist client and retailers with the removal of items requiring disposal
Take an active role in emergency situations including Fire Warden tasks
Work with on site and ad hoc contractors, maintaining a professional and courteous manner

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
Excellent time management
Smart and well presented
High level of customer care awareness
Driving license required
