Description

As senior energy officer, you will provide vital support to the delivery of the Council's Climate Change Emergency Action Plan and Net Zero Delivery Plan.


The postholder will be responsible for monitoring the energy efficiency of council buildings, identifying energy efficiency projects and solutions including heating and lighting and building fabric.


When identifying a suitable individual for the position, we will look for experience and knowledge of energy management and an ability to manage a diverse work programme and multiple priorities is also a requirement, as well as good communication and project-planning skills.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.

For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible:
flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours and part time.
