WHAT TO EXPECT
Working within the Creative Design environment providing high quality surface development, Primary role requirement to interpreting 2D sketch and design input into high quality 3D digital data sets, using our Surface development toolsets and supporting design review with the latest visualisation software


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead CAS Modeller for the deliverable of assigned Digital properties for all Design events including, CEO/CDO, CIE, VVIP, CDFs and QBRs
  • Flexibility to Lead and manage your own work requirements and or to lead a small team to deliver to required deadlines, supporting were required any project/Build meeting and communicating information/direction within that team
  • Operate flexible working practices to deliver assigned Digital properties for the cycle plan and APC workload. Maintaining records and completing release documents and trackers in accordance with our current process
  • Assist with the development of our team through support of our Design C Grade Digital Modellers, Graduates, Undergraduates, and placement students.
  • Fully support and promote the JLR Code of Conduct.
  • Working independently or as part of a team to ensure efficient and highquality delivery and output every time.
  • Understand the department's responsibilities for and support the implication of the Health and Safety process and Destination Zero.
  • Working within the virtual world, must have the ability to interpret 2D sketch into 3D digital form whilst maintaining a creative mindset, delivering high quality design assets using Surface development tools. Including the ability to understand and replicate scan data with the same creative approach.
  • To work in a transparent and professional manner, supporting the relevant programme, liaise with all levels throughout design and across all disciplines, to deliver the required concepts.
  • Have a good understanding of creative process within the design studio environment, maximising the effect on the required design assets.
  • Attend and lead when applicable model build meetings

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

  • Experience of Alias 3D modelling tools
  • Experience of supporting software tools used within the design and office environment (Office360, SharePoint, OneDrive, teams Photoshop, Etc.)
  • Working within a Design environment
  • Flexible approach to workflow and responsibility's
  • Experience of the manufacturing or automotive industry
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
