About You and the Role


As a Trainee Creative Business Administrator you will support the Product Developer and Creative Director with the smoothing running of the creative space.

Whether it is helping process material or customer orders or assisting with the documentation of business processes and data you will become a key member of the team.


You will also be required to help set up our new and exciting creative studio/retail space in the Jewellery Quarter.


Half of your work will require you to provide crucial business administrative support to the Creative Director/Founder to ensure business functions, documentation and data is up to date.

Whilst the other half will require you to work with the production team to ensure they have all that they need to carry out their work effectively.


We are looking for someone who:

  • has an interest in the creative industries particularly crafting and digital design
- is willing to learn new software
- has an excellent eye for detail
- is confident in presenting and implementing new ideas
- is a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- is highly organised, self-motivated with lots of initiative


On a daily basis you will be tasked with:

  • Take and share team meeting notes
  • Update customer and product data systems using spreadsheets and other software
  • Liaise with internal and external parties
  • Assist with the creation and updating of business process documentation
  • Provide general administrative support where required

You will be trained in the following areas:

  • Business administrative systems and processes
  • Customer service
- retail sales and marketing


The Programme
8-12 week course combining work-based placement, Employability Skills and Functional Skills (English and Maths).

After successful completion of the course, we will put you directly into an approved apprenticeship scheme or into full-time work.


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Apprenticeship

Contract length: 8-12 weeks

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
From £6.70 per hour
