Description
We are currently seeking
Drilling & Milling Machine Operatives to join our manufacturing client based in
Smethwick.

The role as a
Machine Operator will be to carry out the following;

  • Use various machines in order to make steel frames
  • Use Drilling machines
  • Use Milling machines
  • Use Tapping machines
  • Report any damaged equipment or materials to management
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Shifts are 6:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday. Every Friday is off and a complete week is 38.5 hours, overtime is regularly available.


Rates of pay begin at £20k per year (£9.95 per hour) and the company will look to offer a permanent contract after 12 worked weeks.
