We are looking for a nurturing graduate to join our team as a Year 3 Autism Support Assistant at a well-led primary school located in Hackney, London.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP.

As a Year 3 Autism Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream classroom setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and deliver interventionsthat are tailored to the needs of the students.

Your role will also involve assessing and monitoring the progress of students with ASD, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least a 2:1 degree and prior experience supporting SEN is beneficial.

You should have the confidence to take on new duties and have the ability to create solid and meaningful relationships with your colleagues.

You should have strong understanding of the curriculum and different teaching methods, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for education and making a difference in the lives of children is also important.

The rate for this position is between £70 and £90 per day depending on experience.
