Job Title - TravelSales Advisor for Holidays


Position - Full Time - Permanent
. This role includes working at weekends and evenings on a rota basis.


Based - Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire


Reporting to - Sales Manager


Salary - £21,000 - £25,000 basic + uncapped commission


Realistic on target earnings in first year: £55,000

Benefits - Company Bonus + Pension contributions + Medical Benefit

Imagine Cruising are experts in creating luxury Cruise and Stay Holidays, selling over 60,000 holidays a year with a turnover in excess of £200m.


Located in the UK, our Head Office is home to a team of over 200 who specialise in creating competitively priced, unique cruise packages targeted at both traditional cruisers and the "new to cruise" market.

Job Purpose


As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, highly driven and focussed person who loves sales and can demonstrate their ability in achieving KPI's.

In this role there may be future opportunity to travel to one of our offices overseas if you are eager to learn and you can sell the amazing holidays we provide to our customers.

Sales is the first part of the customer journey with Imagine Cruising; therefore, we are looking for an individual who has the required passion and skill to provide excellent service to our potential customers.


Typical activities:


  • To service inbound sales calls and understand the customers' needs, build rapport and offer expert cruise and land holiday solutions
  • Provide excellent service to all our customers, adapting the approach taken for each call.
  • Create fantastic customer engagement, understand the customer's requirements, pitch and close the sale
  • The ability to offer the customer alternative solutions if the original offering does not meet the customer requirements
  • Meeting, or exceeding, company KPI's
  • Making accurate cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations quickly and efficiently
  • Produce accurate administration work to complete booking process
  • Work proactively as part of a small team within a large department of Sales Advisors (circa 30+ people) bringing energy and drive to a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Work effectively with other departments to ensure understanding of products

Skill set required:


Essential

  • Highly motivated salesperson who is results orientated, driven to accomplish goals and have a high degree of self motivation
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations
  • Proven sales history with the ability to hit company KPI's
  • The ability to identify with customers, establish rapport and build relationships
  • The ability to adapt style to provide the customer with a personalised service
  • Must be able to organise themselves in order to achieve targets/KPI's
  • Takes responsibility for actions and results
  • Has the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Can demonstrate resilience and focus on opportunities, high quality and business profit.
  • Has excellent communication and listening skills
  • Can be flexible in approach and able to work weekends and extended or additional hours to suit business requirements.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and the internet.

Desirable

  • Must have experience of call centre sales or travel sales
