Description

Our client, a leading metal component manufacturing business based in Gateshead is looking to appoint an Experienced Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis.

To be able to motivate and manage staff
To be able to organise your own time, your team and your workload.
To be able to work to deadlines and work well under pressure and be able to use your own initiative.

Duties Include:

Responsible for the manufacturing departments including Press Shop and Assembly.
Responsibilities will include the organisation of resource in meeting the daily build requirements along with maintaining the expected quality, safety, and housekeeping standards within the section.
Monitoring employee productivity and providing feedback.
Helping to resolve employee issues and disciplinaries
Assisting with inductions and employee training

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week, 0800am - 1800pm

Must be flexible and be able to provide holiday and sickness cover where necessary

Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
