£11.00 per hour

Hours:5 hours per week (Days and times to be mutually agreed)


Job purpose


To provide support to a friendly, caring, fun loving and energetic 14-year-old boy with autism, global developmental delay, learning difficulties and sensory issues in the Ainsdale area.

I can communicate in my own way which you will learn as you get to know me.


I love everything outdoors e.g., the park, beach, woods and going for walks and I am happy to travel places by car, train, or bus.

I also really enjoy going swimming and playing in water.


Main Responsibilities
To spend time to get to know my lovely personality and learn how I communicate my needs.


To provide 1:1 support Support me to participate in activities that I enjoy and help me to discover new ones.

Support me to access the wider community and possibly explore new environments.

Help to keep me safe whilst out and about.


Experience and Skills required
You must be friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic about caring for others.

Ideally have experience of supporting children/young people with additional needs.

Willingness to build up and develop positive relationships.

Be patient, kind and trustworthy.

Good communication skills and the ability to be punctual and reliable.

An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.
