Permanent Finance Manager - Slough - £55,000 - £65,000


An experienced, qualified
Finance Manager, with strong experience working in SMEs has the opportunity to join the European subsidiary and take ownership of the financial month and year-end responsibilities for a growing Telecommunicationscompany.

You will manage a small team (Finance Assistant and a Junior) and be a hands-on Finance Manager with excellent working knowledge of Sage 200 and Excel.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Generalist financial management and legal responsibilities for UK and German legal entities
  • Manage the monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform variance analysis
  • Manage internal financial controls and prepare and support the annual audit, liaising and meeting the requirements of external auditor partners
  • Manage Annual Budget process and provide quarterly forecast updates
  • General financial responsibilities including VAT reconciliation and end of tax year PIID reporting
  • Effective line management of Finance Department

Skills and experience:


  • Significant experience at midsenior level working in financial management
  • Previous international management experience is desirable


  • Fully qualified Accountant

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts and Excel (advanced level).
  • Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside the strategic tasks that this role will dictate
  • Effective communicator and high standard of written communications
  • Experienced line manager, including coaching and developing team members
